ANOTHER dazzling toe-tapping musical is set to hit the Theatre Royal as a production of Guys and Dolls comes to town in August.

The show will provide a night of fantastic comical entertainment suitable for the whole family as the Royal Drama Academy return to bring another amazing amateur youth performance.

After the roaring success of ‘Jospeh and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ last year, the Academy is bringing another three nights of spectacular entertainment.

The production features all of the Broadway show’s smash hits such including Luck Be A Lady, Sit Down You’re Rocking The Boat, If I Were A Bell and of course title song Guys and Dolls.

Theatre Royal regular dame Si Foster directs as the youth group looks to take audiences back to the iconic Broadway 1950s era with this lively uplifting musical.

“We had an impressive three-night standing ovation and sell out run of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ last August, and we are hoping for the same this year with ‘Guys and Dolls!’” said Director Si Foster.

Enjoy the antics of Nathan Detroit and the gambling ring along with the spirited Sarah Brown and her gallant band from the Save-A-Soul Mission as well as Nathan’s long suffering fiancé Miss Adelaide.

‘Guys and Dolls’ is showing at the Theatre Royal on three consecutive nights from Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9 with a 7pm start.

Tickets are £8.50 for adults and £6 for concessions and can be purchased at the Theatre Royal Box Office or alternatively by calling 01744 756000 or online at www.sthelenstheatreroyal.com.
