Surgeon to speak at next cancer support group
CONSULTANT Urological Surgeon Hosea Garner will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the St Helens Cancer Support Group.
Mr Garner who works at St Helens and Whiston Hospitals has overseen the development of the urological service at the St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals Trust.
Denys Floyd who is one of the group’s original founders said it was a coup to get the surgeon to address them.
The meeting starts at 10am on Saturday, August 2 at 93 Corporation Street in St Helens town centre.
