A CHARITY which triple amputee former soldier Andy Reid helped set up is staging a family fun day at Ruskin Drive on Sunday, July 20.
Amputation Inspiration Motivation (AIM) supports people who have lost limbs through injury or illness. It was founded by Andy, who was seriously injured by an IED in Afghanistan during 2009 and Stephen Cruse.
Stephen lost both legs below the knee in a traffic accident in Australia in 2008.
Among the attractions at Sunday’s event, between noon and 5pm, will be a barbecue, bouncy castle and cake stalls.
