THERE was a sea of pink as hundreds took part in the annual Moonlight Walk for Willowbrook Hospice.
Families and friends set out last Saturday (July 5) from Queen’s Park Leisure Centre on Boundary Road, heading off through St Helens towards the hospice and back to the town centre.
The new mayor and mayoress of St Helens Geoff Pearl his wife Carol, pictured, also got into the swing of things, joining the walkers at the event.
Following on fromj the huge success of 2013's walk which saw more than 700 take part,l this year's was bigger and better.
All of the money raised by the charity walk goes towards helping Willowbrook Hospice give professional care to those in need and each £100 raised can provide just 20 minutes of patient care.
