TOP referee Chris Foy brought a Premier League flavour to a football festival at Ashurst Primary School.
Chris was the man in the middle when Ashurst and local rivals Blackbrook St Mary’s took to the pitch as the school swayed to the sound of the beat, provided by St Augustine’s Samba Band, while Ashurst’s Year 6 pupils led a flag-waving opening ceremony dance.
Chris is pictured with the teams before the match which resulted in a 4-2 victory for Ashurst.
Ashurst head Brian Banks said: “Apart from the weather this was a brilliant event. The children are writing match reports and recounting stories of football glory.”
