FIRE crews removed the roof of a car to free two men from the wreckage of a crash on the M62 near Rainhill last night.
The collision happened on the Eastbound carriageway, near to junction seven shortly after 5pm.
Firefighters stabilised the car before using hydraulic citing equipment.
Two men who were in the car were lifted on long boards and carried to a waiting ambulance for treatment at about 5.45pm.
