MARIE Curie Cancer Care is seeking a volunteer to become the treasurer of their St Helens fundraising group.

The role involves attending meetings every four to six weeks, taking records of all money raised by the group, informing the charity about all transactions and providing financial updates at each meeting.

It also involves working for the group on budgets for fundraising activities.

Michelle Bate, community fundraiser for the charity, said: “We are looking for an individual who is organised, with great communication skills and an eye for detail to join our fantastic fundraising group covering the St Helens area.

“The fundraising group raise money to support the Marie Curie Nursing Service in St Helens which provides care to people with terminal illness.”
