Haydock man charged with assault
A HAYDOCK man will appear in court following an assault on a 26-year-old man.
Terrence Riley, aged 24, of Harrison Drive, Haydock has been charged with section 47 assault.
Lee Jones, aged 21, of Alder Avenue, Ashton-in-Makerfield has been charged with section 20 assault relating to the same incident.
They are both due to appear at Wigan magistrates' court on Friday, June 27.
At around 4am on Sunday, March 2 March 2014 the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with three men at Ibiza Bar on King Street, Wigan.
A fight erupted outside and a 26 year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious injury to his eye and eye socket.
