ANIMAL saviours are inviting people to join them in a funday and fleamarket on Sunday, June 29, in Newton-le-Willows.
Families have the chance to meet rabbits, chickens and Stan the pig as volunteers from the non-profit making Laurel Animal Rescue in Vista Road are staging the event with proceeds going to the rescue or rehabilitaion of animals who need a home.
The open day at The Laurels will feature a sale of second hand goods and collectables, stalls, refreshments including home made cakes and biscuits.
Volunteer are needed for various roles innvolved in running the rescue service such as fundraising, home checking, assessment and fostering.
