A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed after receiving a stolen silver pocket watch just two days after a court handed him a suspended sentence for theft.
Lee Kenyon, of Morley Street, St Helens was already serving a suspended jail term for assault and shoplifting.
But two days after St Helens Magistrates’ Court passed that sentence for stealing 40 bars of chocolate from Poundland he was hauled back into the dock.
He pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen goods on May 31.
Kenyon was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison.
