CYCLISTS are being encouraged to dust off their bikes and get out and about on the borough’s scenic routes.
Knowsley Council has again teamed up with British Cycling to run the Sky Rides programme now featuring free, fun, escorted rides.
They'll be guided by friendly British Cycling Ride Leaders along pleasant routes classed as steady, easy going or challenging.
The next excursion will take place on Sunday, 22 June. This easy going ride commences at 10am from Stadt Moers Park, Whiston.
The following Sunday, June 29 a challenging ride is scheduled to leave Knowsley Leisure & Culture Park at 10am, with a steady ride out at 2pm from the National Wildflower Centre.
Places must be booked in advance, visit www.goskyride.com
