SPRING is a very exciting season for birdwatching – all those duties of nest-building and eggs incubating. But the highlight is feeding the chicks, says Star contributor Lilia Hughes, of West Park.
This couple of blue tits with a nest in the hollow of the tree in Taylor Park were very busy indeed.
She said: “When I was watching them I noticed they were making rounds every one to two minutes.”
Chicks successfully fledged and nest is empty and quiet now – until the next season...
