CLASSIC vehicles from the 60s, 70s and 80s will take pride of place in Earlestown.

On Saturday, June 21 a three wheeled Reliant van, just like Del Boy’s, will be on show between 11am and 4pm at the town centre event which is a joint venture between St Helens Council and The Pheonix Car Club based at Clock Face.

Around 25 classic cars will feature plus motorcycles and scooters.

Council Leader Cllr Barrie Grunewald said: “There’ll be some great cars on display and we’re delighted to see Earlestown hosting this exciting, eye-catching event. It’ll be a real trip down motoring’s memory lane.”

The Pheonix Car Club has 40 members who attend shows and support community and charity events with vehicles ranging from Morris Minors and Triumph Stags to Mercedes and BMWs.
