A 77-YEAR-old man has appeared in court accused of racially aggravated assault.
Appearing before St Helens Magistrates’ Court, William Brookes, from Earles Court in Newton-le-Willows, denied two counts of assaulting Miguel Zurita in the next door flat in March.
The case has been adjourned until September when Brookes will go on trial at St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
