Trust wants feedback from Whiston A & E patients

That’s the question St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are asking patients who have been treated at Whiston Hospital’s Accident and Emergency department.

A survey has been sent to 850 adult patients asking for feedback on how the service could be further improved.

Chief executive Ann Marr said: “I would urge everyone who has received a survey to tell us about their experience as a patient. Feedback from patients is vital for helping to further improve the high standards of care provided at the Accident and Emergency Department.”

Patients are urged to complete and return the survey in the pre-paid envelope provided.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is leading the NHS national patient survey programme aiming to assess and monitor patients’ experience and to provide feedback which can be used locally to improve quality, keeping patients at the centre of health services.
