ST HELENS College students are offering pooch makeovers for a fiver to raise money for canine charity The Dogs Trust.
The event will take place tomorrow at the Technology Campus on Pocket Nook Street and will include free micro-chipping alongside a raffle, tombola games and much more.
Pupils are also aiming to raise awareness of responsible dog ownership with the news that it will be illegal to own a dog that has not been micro chipped from April 2016.
Prizes are up for grabs with competitions being held for the Best Dressed (12pm), Best Trick (1pm) and Best Rescue (2pm).
Dog wash appointments are necessary and can be booked by calling Penny on 01744 623645 between 12-1pm or 3-5pm or email pcorrigan@sthelens.ac.uk
