Pupils accept Mayor's invitation
JUNIOR decision makers took up Mayor Cllr Andy Bowden’s offer and staged a debate at St Helens Town Hall.
When he visited Ashurst Primary School to hand out awards members of the school’s council asked the Mayor if they could hold their next meeting at the authority’s headquarters.
Pictured in the Mayor’s Parlour with the Mayor and civic regalia are Ashurst school councillors who held a lively debate about a summer fundraiser, cloakroom refurbishment and a new logo planned for the Blackbrook school.
