THE family and friends of St Helens hero Steve Prescott will attend the unveiling of a plaque at the bridge named after the late rugby league legend today.
Roadside signs will also be put in place around the bridge which links the town centre to Saints’ ground Langtree Park.
The original designs for the bridge were presented to Steve’s wife Linzi and their sons Taylor and Koby by council leader Barrie Grunewald at the recent official naming ceremony.
