The air ambulance took the woman to Aintree Hospital
A 19-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital after she suffered head and facial injuries in a two vehicle collision.
The incident happened just after noon on Clock Face Road close to Finger House Lane. The full extent of her injuries is not known although they are not believed to be serious. She was transferred to Aintree Hospital via air ambulance.
No one else was hurt.
