READY for action holding a soldier’s standard issue Lee Enfield .303 rifle complete with fixed bayonet Ray Waring has his tin hat and binoculars at hand as he waits to greet visitors to Rainford Heritage Society’s wartime exhibition at Inglenook Farm, Moss Nook Lane, Rainford.

The exhibition is being held today, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a weekend rally of vintage vehicles on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
