A MAN and a woman were arrested on suspicion of drugs supply offences after a haul of what is believed to be cocaine, amphetamines and ecstasy were seized in St Helens town centre, it has emerged.
CCTV staff monitoring images on Waterloo Street, St Helens tipped off police to inspect the area.
Officers seized a “large amount” of drugs and arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of being in possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
A search of a car nearby found more controlled drugs.
