VISITORS to Taylor Park on Saturday will get to see Saints forward Sia Soliola have his locks shaved off.

As part of the Steve Prescott Foundation’s fifth annual Irn Bru Taylor Park Challenge, the Saints’ Samoan international will have his now famous mop of hair chopped.

The day will be the first Taylor Park challenge since Steve’s passing last November.

Sia hopes to raise £2,500 for the foundation, having already reached £1,300.

Mandy Millar, owner of Classy Cuts hairdressers, will oversee the head shave which will be Sia’s first haircut since the birth of his son, Israel in 2011.

The day will also see a host of other competitive activities including dragon boating, ball rush, clayzar shooting, spider mountain and a zip line, which involves dropping ducks into ponds.

Entertainment also provided by Jamm Studios – headlined by Stillia – and Silcocks funfair.

The head shave is expected to take place mid-afternoon and people can donate on justgiving.com/siasoliola, with contributors to be entered into a free draw to win one of five signed pictures along with a locket of Sia’s hair.
