The former Parkside Colliery site
MOVES to replace the gates and existing entrance to the former Parkside Colliery, off Winwick Road, Newton-le-Willows, have been approved by planners.
It is part of a commitment by developer Langtree and St Helens Council to improve the site’s appearance, as it seeks to form new plans for a huge rail freight terminal there.
