Thursday, April 24, 7.30pm: SCARS at the Friends Meeting House. Glen Atkinson reveals The eastern Manchester Ship Canal on glass slides.
Monday, April 28, 7.30pm: St. Helens Historical Society are at the Friends Meeting House on Church Street, when Samantha Rowe will reveal recent discoveries in Rainford.
Wednesday, Apr 30, 5pm - 7pm: Newton-le-Willows History Group meet at Newton Library to discuss McCorquodales.
Thursday, May 1, 7.30pm: Newton-le-Willows Gardeners Association meet at the Cricket Club, Crow Lane East, when Margeurite Hughes will talk about scented plants for every season. The talk starts at 7.30pm. Admission is free and open to everyone.
