A 52-YEAR-OLD man is missing after failing to return to a residential home following a night out, say police.

Michael Greaves was expected back at Avondale Nursing Home, Sandstone Drive, Whiston.

Police and Michael's family are now becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare, especially as he isn't believed to have any of his prescription medication with him.

He was last seen on Sunday, April 13 at 10.45pm, when he was dropped off by a taxi driver on Church Lane, Eccleston.

It is believed he went into a nearby Bargain Booze store a short time later, but since then he has not been seen.

He was later reported as missing to police and enquiries are ongoing to establish where he is.

Michael is described as white, around 5ft 11in tall and of a slim build. He has stubble/a short beard and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing light coloured jeans and a beige coloured anorak.

Police and Michael's family are now becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare, especially as he isn't believed to have any of his prescription medication with him.

Officers would urge Michael, or anyone who knows where he is, or sees him, to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or the Missing Persons Helpline on 116000.
