Man denies making petrol bomb threat

A MAN has appeared in court charged with threatening to throw a petrol bomb at a woman’s flat.

In a hearing at St Helens Magistrates’ Court Liam Maguire, 24, pleaded not guilty to making the threats in March.

He was remanded on conditional bail preventing him from entering Clock Face and placing him under curfew at his home address at Old Lane in Rainhill.

Maguire is due back at court on Wednesday, July 16.
