Police discover man's body after engineer raises alarm
THE body of a 74-year-old man was discovered after an electrical engineer raised the alarm when he went to read the meter.
Police were called to an address on Mersey Street, in Parr, at 3.15pm on Tuesday, where they found the body of John Roby.
Following the results of a post mortem the coroner’s office said that Mr Roby’s who died from natural causes had been in the property for at least three weeks.
