Woman hurt after wheel comes off her trike
A WOMAN was injured this morning when the wheel came off her motorised trike as she travelled along the St Helens Linkway.
Emergency services were called just before 7am to the incident which affected traffic on the A58 Milverny Way and Cannington Roundabout and Sherdley Road and Burtonhead Road close to the Renault garage.
A police spokeswoman said the woman was taken to Whiston Hospital but there were no further details regarding her injuries.
Traffic is slowly returning to normal.
