Police find man's body
THE body of a 74-year-old man was discovered on yesterday afternoon by police who were called to an address in Mersey Street, Parr.
Merseyside Police were called to the property at 3.15pm after concern was raised regarding the man’s safety.
The coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death, although police say it is not suspicious.
Anyone with information is asked to call police in St Helens via the non-emergency 101 number.
