POLICE have confirmed that 22 dangerous dogs have been seized today across Merseyside including Whiston.
In a crackdown on owners of dangerous dogs, officers also carried out a raid at a property in St Helens but the animal was not in the property.
The owners had not stuck to specific guidelines set down by the courts after they were initially granted permission to keep their animals.
