A WHISTON man accused of murdering his step-father in a hit-and-run incident today denied the allegation.

Nathan James Kenny, of Braemar Close, is alleged to have murdered Michael Fennah, 52.

Mr Fennah died on December 17 after a collision on Scott Avenue, Whiston. A post mortem examination ruled he died from head injuries.

Kenny, aged 33, who appeared via video link from Walton prison, was further remanded in custody by Judge Mark Brown to await his trial beginning on May 12.
