PAUL Sculthorpe looks dapper as he models the new collection of designer Italian suits which are new to Tyrers.

The former Saints captain and Gillette model tried out the exclusive range Gagliardi at the town centre store.

The Bridge Street department store – which recently rebuffed rumours it may close – brought in the designer as part of a revamp of its menswear section.

Also favoured by the footballers of Inter Milan, Gagliardi is celebrating 50 years in business, and has made clothes for high end labels including Hackett and Jaeger.

Tyrers’ store manager and menswear buyer Mike Duff said that Gagliardi combines a Mediterranean twist with contemporary style and uses fabrics in its range by Parisian fashion house Cerruti.

Tyrers are also running a competition for a four-day Mediterranean break in a five-star spa hotel to mark the introduction of the brand.

Mike said: “All you have to do is come in, take a look at the clothes and give your email address and phone number.”
