A WOMAN was caught driving nearly three times over the limit after boozing all weekend at a hen party.
Kerry Louise Curran, aged 29, of Grovesnor Gardens, Newton-le-Willows, pleaded guilty to drink driving at Halton Magistrates' Court.
The court heard police were called to a road accident on Tanhouse Lane, Birchwood, on January 28.
Lionel Cope, prosecuting, said officers arrived to find no drivers present. Curran was found nearby and had been driving a black Audi.
She was breathalysed, and provided a sample showing 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
The court heard Curran has a ‘drink problem’ and had been drinking from Friday, January 24, to the following Monday at a hen party.
She said she had felt ‘fine to drive’ the following day.
The mum-of-three has a previous conviction for drink driving in 2005.
The hearing was adjourned for reports, and Curran will be sentenced on March 23.
