Library's month-long closure

First published in News

PARR Library in Fleet Lane, St Helens, is closing for four weeks for a new roof to be fitted.

The work is due to start on Monday, March 10, and is scheduled to last until Monday, April 7.

Customers will be able to borrow more books in the days before work starts.

The nearest alternative library is Central Library, although members can use any of the borough’s libraries.

Library items can be returned to any library, and no fines will be charged to Parr Library users for the period of closure.

The home delivery service based at Parr Library will be temporarily re-located, but will continue to deliver books to all housebound customers for the duration of the building works.

The council apologises for any inconvenience. For more information call 677487.
