A MAN had to be cut out of a car by firefighters following a two vehicle collision earlier this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Bold Road just after 2.30pm following the incident involving a red Peugeot and a Vauxhall Astra.
Crews used cutting equipment to remove the roof of the Peugeot to help paramedics remove the 46–year-old on a long board.
A 36-year-old man was helped from his car by paramedics and both men were taken to Fazakerley Hospital where their injuries are describes as minor.
