PLANS have been submitted for a new housing development on a former tyres site.
Developers want to create 89 homes on land where Oak Tyres, Warrington Road, Rainhill stood.
Agent Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners has lodged the plans on behalf of developer Countryside Properties UK Ltd and Concept Developments to St Helens Council.
The proposals include 41 two-bedroom, 35 three-bedroom and 13 four-bedroom houses.
There will also be vehicular and pedestrian access from Warrington Road.
