STUDENT Olivia Eden will be flying the St Helens flag sky high in next month’s Miss Teen Galaxy England competition.

On March 8 she’ll be representing the town in the finals at Park Hall Leisure Centre and, after just missing out of a top three place last year, she’s intent on making her home town proud.

“After competing last year and coming fourth I hope to bring the title home to St Helens this time,” said Rainhill High sixth former Olivia, aged 17.

Currently she is studying dance, textiles, photography and science but admits she just loves to dance and enjoys ballet, tap, modern and street disciplines.

Her mum, Mary Eden, and her nan Rita Molyneux will be rooting for Olivia. “We’re so proud of everything she has achieved and wish her the best of luck,” they told the Star.
