THE search is on for the owner of an exclusive watch which Merseyside Police recovered during a house search.

The watch, which is believed to have been stolen, was recovered by officers searching a property in the Old Swan area of Liverpool and police are keen to locate the owner.

The ladies Rolex silver and gold coloured wristwatch with a blue face is believed to have originally been supplied to Prestons of Rochdale in 1999.

The rightful owner, or anyone who has information about the owner, is asked to call police on 0151 777 4408.

Proof of ownership will be required to claim the item.
