VOLUNTEERS are invited to get involved with Rainhill’s Eco Garden project when the first spadeful of soil will be turned over at 11am on Saturday, March 1 at Exchange Place.
The garden is being designed to provide a welcoming, relaxing community space close to the hustle and bustle of the village but also providing a haven for wildlife.
Rainhill Eco Garden committee member Mrs Clare Swatbridge said: “The Eco Garden group has already received significant funding so we are now ready to get things growing.
“People are always welcome to help with the garden project so why not come along on March 1 and see how you can get involved.”
