Boxer Martin Murray is just one of the many Saints fans eagerly awaiting kick-off of the new Super League season tonight.

Saints travel to Warrington for Thursday’s televised game and Martin will be hoping a win for Nathan Brown’s boys may persuade his five-year-old son Archie (pictured) to switch his allegiances from primrose and blue to the red vee.

Martin said: “Everyone knows I’m a Fingerpost lad and a huge Saints fan.

“But we live in Warrington and Gemma my wife and her parents all support the Wolves.

“I must admit I let my guard down and before I knew it he was supporting Warrington. I’m still working on him though.”
