A 60-YEAR-old man has pleaded not guilty to a string of charges, including drug possession carrying offensive weapons and having £2,500 which was deemed “criminal property”.
Derek Lilley, from Crown Gardens in Newton-le-Willows, faces five charges in total.
Two are for allegedly possessing 12 wraps of crack cocaine and 36 wraps of heroin with intent to supply.
A further two are allegedly having a metal bar and a sharpened trowel in a public place Another is for allegedly possessing criminal property, namely £2,500.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday May 7.
