PLANS are up and running for a summer festival expected to attract 3,000 people.
Visitors to the Rainford Summer Festival will be treated to attractions including live bands, an international food court, artisan market and games.
The event is designed to showcase Rainford High Technology College’s facilities and their students and create a major event for the village community.
Rainford High principal Ian Young said: “Rainford is a vibrant community and the festival is a great opportunity to show what the area has to offer.”
The festival is on Saturday, July 12 from 11am to 5pm.
