A CAMPAIGN to rid public places from nuisance off-roaders chalked up another success this week with the seizure of this bike in Sutton.
It was confiscated by police on Boscow Crescent when the rider abandoned it when he realised the officers were approaching. It will now be crushed.
Councillor Richard McCauley, St Helens Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety said: “St Helens Council and its Community Safety partners are committed to stopping these nuisance riders who make life a misery for some of our communities.
“It’s another great result and one that hopefully sends a clear message to other riders tempted to use their machines in parks or on public land.”
