YOUNG footballers with Whiston Juniors Under 9s’ team now have what could prove vital life-saving equipment thanks to Childwall Round Table members who have provided them with a new defibrillator.
They donated all proceeds from their Christmas sleigh collection topped up with a further donation to purchase the equipment and provide training for team managers.
Whiston Juniors’ secretary, Robbie Owens said: “We are hugely grateful to Childwall Round Table and the Oliver King Foundation for providing the equipment and special thanks to Round Table members Carl and Steven Davies.”
