WET, Wet, Wet have been thrilling audiences since the 80s and the chart toppers will be the headline act at a summer music night at Haydock Park Racecourse.

They will perform at the first of three such events that is being staged on Saturday, July 19 and tickets for the evening's racing followed by the open-air concert are now on sale.

John Baker, Regional Director North West of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “Music nights at Haydock Park are renowned for being a fantastic day out. We’ll have a great afternoon of racing followed by an evening of hits from Wet Wet Wet, a hugely popular act who we are certain will receive a big welcome from the Haydock Park audience.

"We saw record crowds for Madness and a large turnout for Legends of the 80’s in 2013 and we’re expecting tickets for Wet Wet Wet to sell fast. I’d encourage people to buy early to secure their place at what will be one of the highlights of the summer.”
