Man taken to hospital following two car collision
A MAN was taken to hospital following a two car collision just before 1pm on Saturday (January 18).
The incident happened on Speakman Road, near the junction with Carr Street in Denton’s Green.
Two men who had been in one of the cars were checked by paramedics but they didn’t need hospital treatment.
A third man aged 23, who was in the second car, was taken to Whiston Hospital. All three were out of the cars before emergency services arrived.
Fire crews from Eccleston and Parr made both vehicles safe before leaving the scene.
