WORRIED neighbours were faced with the dramatic sight of armed police raiding a house earlier this afternoon (Friday, January 10).
Several police cars blocked Gladstone Street as officers executing a warrant entered a property.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said they were carrying out an operation on behalf of Greater Manchester Police.
GMP have yet to explain the nature of the operation that required armed police on the streets.
