IF you are wondering what to do with that real Christmas tree now that the New Year is well and truly here here the answer lies with Council recycling and chipping facilities scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 12.

Christmas Tree recycling drop off points will be open in Victoria Park, Gaskell Park, Nanny Goat Park, Sutton Park, Fosters Park, Sherdley Park, Clinkham Wood, Taylor Park, Downall Green and Mesnes Park, Newton le Willows.

You can watch your tree being chipped between 10am and 3pm at Mesnes Park car park. For more information contact St. Helens Council rangers on 01925 229021
