Recycle your Christmas trees
IF you are wondering what to do with that real Christmas tree now that the New Year is here the answer lies St Helens Council’s recycling and chipping facilities scheduled to be held on the next two Sundays, January 5 and 12.
Christmas Tree recycling drop off points will be open in Victoria Park, Gaskell Park, Nanny Goat Park, Sutton Park, Fosters Park, Sherdley Park, Clinkham Wood, Taylor Park, Downall Green and Mesnes Park, Newton le Willows. You can watch your tree being chipped between 10am and 3pm on both days at Mesnes Park car park.
