FREE cycle maintenance sessions are being held at Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre in Parr.
St. Helens Council is funding the sessions at the Fleet Lane centre which will cater for absolute novice mechanics and also seasoned tinkerers seeking a few tips from a qualified cycle mechanic.
Classes are free to anyone living, working or studying in St Helens and you can choose which of the four classes you want to attend. You will need to take along your own bike to work on although tools and equipment will be available.
Sessions arranged are: January 14 - M check; January 21 - puncture repair; January 28 – brakes: February 4 – gears. All run from 6pm to 8pm.
To book a place contact the Traffic, UTC and Road Safety Team on 01744 676789 and ask for Ste or Elaine. Alternatively you can email cycling@sthelens.gov.uk
